THE VENUE
Venetsanos winery is located right above the port of Athinios, overlooking the magnificent caldera of Santorini. The Venetsanos family has a very long tradition of producing wine. Originally was produced for the island and subsequently, it was exported extensively, and particularly to countries such as Russia. It was built in 1947 by the Venetsanos family and became the first industrial winery on the island. Its most distinguishing feature is the structural design, which essentially used gravity, facilitating energy efficiency, at a time when access to electricity and other energy sources was very limited. The winery was built in an unconventional manner constructed from above and moving downwards.
Τhe winery is built on 4 different levels. At the second level is located the Upper Terrace a magnificent terrace area of 250m2 that overlooks the caldera. This open-air area can host the ceremony, reception, private dinner, gala & other events.
THE BEACH
Vlychada is an easily accessible beach by car or bus, located on the south coast of Santorini, 13 kilometers from Fira. It stands out for the overwhelming carved cliffs that resemble a sculptor’s work but is, in fact, a natural process owed to the volcano, the wind, and the sea. It is a lengthy beach with relatively shallow waters and dark volcanic sand and pebbles, like most beaches in Santorini.

One of the greatest ways to explore the island of Santorini and take in its splendid natural beauty and captivating sunset.

Oia is considered the most picturesque village of Santorini and holds the position of the most visited spot for sunset viewing, as it provides an excellent view of the well-known sunset, probably the most famous sunset in the world.
